I want Guild Wars 2 to keep everything that made Guild Wars different from the other MMORPG's
I don't want Guild Wars 2 to turn into World Of Warcraft with a different name.

Things that should stay:
-Runes and Insignias. Make it easier to change them out. I like the armor skin I have. I don't want several sets of armor with different rune/insig setups for different areas I will be in. Let me change it easier for the area I will be going into.
-Inscriptions. Same as above. I like certain skined items. Let me customize it how I want it.
- Skill Templates. This has been one of the best time saving additions to GW in my opinion. I love being able to change from a fire set up to an earth set up with a few clicks.
-Heroes. Love my heros but wish they would not all ball up on me when fighting. They need to spreed out and run out of AoE like the monsters do. I don't want henchmen. I like to set up the skill bars of my heroes.
Don't want:
-henchmen taking drops. Let me pay my heros in gold for helping me.
-Anything based on titles. That means skill effectiveness, lock picks breaking, etc. Worthless.
-Trade system. We really need a way to set up our own shops to sell things or an auction house type thing.

I love titles that have value so I hope they continue that in GW2. They can do away with silly titles like drunkard though and party animal and stupid childish stuff like that. ALL titles should give some advantage within the game. Even if it's just an extra attribute point or a few hit points or like some are now with better pve skills.
Definitely want more WoWlike play in GW2, but, not to the extreme. Just some bonuses and more powerful weapons and items that can only be used in PVE.
Really hope it has unlimited levels and no caps and you get bonuses to something every so many levels. Just a little bit, not enough to make you some supreme being, but, like maybe 5-10hps more and maybe an attribute point extra.
Want my hereos back. At least 3 again.
Don't want all these stupid weekend events. These things take people away from grouping to do other more important things besides stand in a circle.
Definitely don't want forced grouping though.

What I want
Heroes for complete party
Good AI for Heroes
Good drops are always nice.Dont pull a D and drop Sigs at Baal type in hell mode.The way you do with GW1 is fine keep it that way.
Dont want PVP and PVE skill clash.I dont PVP but I can see where there are problems.Dont nerf pve because of PVP.Keep it seperate.
Dont want where there is just a companion and that is it.I own D2 so I dont need the same.

WANTS:
* Lvl 20 cap.
* 3 hero's and henchy system.
* Fully instanced world.
* Armor crafting/weapons crafting Insignias/rune can stay.
* Armor customized.
* PvP arena's in PvE world
* Some kind of trade market.
DON'T WANTS
* Title's with ingame benefits (sweet tooth, drunkard can stay and map title can stay also.)
* High lvl cap
* NO PvEvP world i wanna play i peace not that some kind of screaming playerkillin brad comes and screws my gameplay.
* No 1 a 2 hours wait in a line to kill a boss.
* NO uber sword of world slaying crap.
In the end keep pretty much most things in GW2 what was in GW1

You repeat yourself. Seriously, I really don't want anything even remotely related to WoW in GW2. If they put in mounts? Fine, there are mounts and plenty of stuff, but the generic grind of games like WoW is something I don't want to go through in Gw2.

What good aspects of GW1 would you like to see carried into GW2?
Like I said, this is about the GOOD things, I dont wanna hear about what you dont like or how "this is one of the only good things" imo. There's enough of that on these forums.
So, I'll start it off:
I'd like to see the same "build strategy" where you are allowed to switch out multiple skills and have the set once again saved on a template. It adds a level of intelligence to the game in certain areas.

I too, would love to see the current skill/build system used, it makes for a more intelligent style of play (most of the time) than other MMO's where you have every single skill you know at your disposal.

The lack of a gazilion PvE "doom-day-button" skills in Prophecies. That was a good aspect I think.

Id love to see UB brought to GW2 (maybe even the old ranged version).
Since UB has been implemented, GW and the various foums have been given a second life for the complainers... never a boring minute since for me... although the popcorn is kinda running short I guess.
What Id really like to see carried on is the continuous Bufs/ nerfs which anet are making... Ignoring any and all "OMG U NURFED MY FAV BILD" compliners, it brings more movement in a game which would be full of boring repetitive builds. I find it good that players are actually forced to use their grey matter to addapt and find new ways of creating an unbeatable build for specific areas, its just such a shame that so few actually work on being original.

I would like to see the rich environments and range of scenery carried through to Gw2. GW looks and feels amazing, i can't wait to see what a revamped tyria will look like with better graphics. /drool

HA. And GvG. In fact, all the current PvP forms. From what we've heard, PvP sounds pretty bleh in GW2, so hopefully they keep GvG and HA.

Wants
* That GW2 follow the same "philosofy", the same model of GW1
* The same skill based PVP system, not a gear based one.
Don't wants
* That GW2 falls into the traditional RPGs model
* That the grinding defines who is a better player
* That you gear defines you as a better player
